Shopping

First snowstorm of the the year comin' in tonight. Busy at work, but I thought I'd take the chance to shop tonight. Bad weather keeps 'em away from the store. A little more peaceful to do one of my least favorite things - shop for gifts. Overall, shopping isn't something I like; but there's always a little more angst in my cart when I'm looking for gifts.

HodagWriter said...: Cori and I shopped last night too. Got some groovy stuff at Walmart. Cozy seems to be the theme. We're mainly gonna try making gifts this year so that should be interesting. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
