From National Geographic, July, 2009: Garrison Keillor, Farming is about work and about there being a Right Way and a Wrong Way to do it. (emphasis his)
I like his writing. Just stories of folks, the words moving along just so, when without pretense, a truism appears. The truth doesn't stand out, not bold, new, or 99 percent fat-free; it's just there. An appealing bit of humanity for the reader to admire as he passes by.
