Heckuva weekend
Friday night Jamie and I went to the Man's Mall (Fleet Farm) and got a piece of tubing to bleed the hydraulic clutch line on the Nighthawk. We picked up Kayla from the Redbirds football game and went to see City of Ember, it was alright.
Saturday morning, we took Michaela to Copps so she could help out at her friend's family's brat fundraiser. Jamie and I fixed the bike and rode. We drove around Green Bay to a geocache, to see the SpeeDee shop, to Gibsons and then another cache. Played a little frisbee golf, too. Went to Gibsons for dinner.
Gameday, we tailgated, hollered, cheered, high-fived, posed with Miller Lite Girls, played catch at Lambeau Field, and even got to dance a little during the fifth quarter.

Kenny
Picking up at Browns of Two Rivers today, I heard Love Will Turn You Around on WOMT.* I smiled wide and wondered why. A happy little melody. Jesse at Browns said Twenty Years Ago was his favorite Kenny Rogers song, so I looked that one up too.
*(When I first started delivering to Manitowoc/Two Rivers, I recognized a voice on the radio, and knew right away that it was Brian Norton's. I used to work with him at 1240 WOBT - Rhinelander, and now he works for 1240 WOMT - Manitowoc.)

Manitou-walk
Michaela had a lock-in/sleepover at the Y with her gymnastics team Friday night.
She slept Saturday morning.
Jamie & I rode the motorcycle to find a geocache.
About noon, we woke up Kayla, got Dave, Logan and Sami, and drove to Manitowoc for some geocaching.
The first satellite, Sputnik, landed in Manitowoc when it fell out of orbit. The brass circle in the street marks the spot.
We walked right up to a big ship.
We played at a big park.
Then headed back to Green Bay for dinner at Tumbleweed, where we met Mary & Nicky.
We all came back to my place to play Rock Band, then Logan stayed over, and we watched National Treasure 2.

First
October is the season most introspective to me. Many vibrant parts of our lives fade away. We only know that they will be, again.
This song is well named. This is how October feels to me.
