Popped-Up

I've been getting a little stronger everyday.

Today we watched Jamie play football in the rain (last night we watched the Hodags put up a valiant effort vs. one of the best teams in the state, Stevens Point.)

Then I readjusted the sheds. Demolition/remodel. It went well. The camper is in the back yard. And the Biolo girls have come over to try out the camper with Jamie & Kayla.

Shingles

Pain!
Pain!
Agonizing pain!

Rough week. Thanks, Dr. Hooper and Shopko Pharmacy. Thank you, personal will and God. Thank you, Shelly. And thank you to those who prayed for my wellness.

I'm back in the game.

Labor Day

Sunday we played in the horseshoe tournament in Sugar Camp. That afternoon, my cold morphed into a pounding headache. By the time we got home, I had a fever. I laid in bed all day Monday with what I think is a flu. Then I tried going to work. I warned Jon that I wasn't 100%, and I did what I could. Painful day.

Dave sent me this article (PG-13). It's long, yet enjoyable.

Fry Cooks

Michaela and Jamie helped me make breakfast this morning. Pancakes, hot dogs and brats.

Busy Week

Allergy season is back, and I think I have a cold too.
But I had work to do.

Work wasn't very busy, so I got home earlier than usual most days. I've been cutting down trees in order to accommodate for the camper. I dropped eight trees. Phil helped me with two leaners yesterday, as he was cutting up a tree at his mother-in-law's home down the street. All fell just right, except the last one, a fairly small jack pine that hung up. We got a rope on it, and Shelly pulled as I pushed.

I got a burning permit from the RFD, and cut and burned all day yesterday. After dinner, Phil and his son stopped back over, and we shared a few beers around the fire.
